3	What’s your sporting background?	Surfing, skiing, basketball and smoking (yes smoking was great sport)
4	Why pick triathlon? After giving up my favorite sporting activity, I started running at the Harriers running club with my sister. She always wanted to complete a triathlon so she convinced me to register with her for the Tri-to-beat triathlon. My sister came first in her age group and I finished in 1hr 40mins. I was hooked after that race, the best high ever.
5	When was your first Triathlon?	Tri-to-beat
6	Where was it?	Lilliput, Castleton-Geo, Westmeath
7	Which bit do you love: Swim, Bike, Run ?	Bike, I love my new LeMond thanks Aidan.
8	Which bit do you hate: Swim, Bike, Run?	Run, but I hope this season that will change thanks to my run mentor Mimz.
9	Pool, Lake, River, Sea?	Lake, pool and sea not river because weaker swimmers can gain an advantage in the river you know what I’m talking about Vera!!!
10	Cross country run, road run?	Neither, I’m not a great runner but watch this space!!!
11	Lough Ennell, Lough Owel ?	Lough Ennell, it’s warmer in April and I love the cup of tea after the swims. Thanks McCools and McCabes.
12	Favorite triathlon	Carna Olympic distance triathlon, I came first in my age group last year. Oh and Lisbon half Ironman you know why Mimz.
13	Proudest moment in triathlon. Finishing the Caroline Kearney triathlon in my first season as a tri-athlete. I dedicate this race to two very special people My Mother and Caroline Kearney they both died in separate road accidents in 2006 and they both gained divine intervention to get me through that day as I thought I was going to drop with a heart attack. I was last finishing the race but the encouragement from my family and new tri friends was one of the best moments in my life.
14	Most embarrassing moment in triathlon. Sorry Killian you think I’m that silly to reveal that moment, never. My new loving tri-athlete friends would have a field day at my expense.
15	Your inspiration	My sister Nuala and brother Padraig without their inspiration, encouragement and support I would never have started triathlon.
16	In terms of triathlon, what could you not live without?	Wetsuit, great for the canal swims according to my friend Enda!!!
17	Ironman ?	Never, although if I got a place in Kona I might change my mind I would love Hawaii. Great surf.
18	Biggest wish for triathlon ?	To win the F85-90 age group in Carna in 2058 with all my midland tri friends and my family watching.
19	What’s the agenda for 2010 ?	European’s in Athlone and World age group in Budapest.
20	Who do you want to beat in 2010?	Ondirite, I’ll never relax until the finish line once she’s chasing me that’s a promise Brigid!!!
