My proudest moment had to be finishing the CK Tri in 2010!!
My most embarrassing triathlon moment was not anything I did! I
was standing beside that naked guy in transition in Athy this
year! UGHHHHH!
I would love to do an Ironman but I will take another couple of
years yet to get to that level (and get permission from Julie!). I
may even get a sneaky Half Ironman in next year....
My wish is to keep enjoying it, keep fit and get much faster! I
would love to see Gorry in my rear view mirror for a change!
My sporting background is
gaelic football (Bunbrosna)
and hurling (Cullion). I
wanted a new challenge and
was getting too slow to play
football!! I did a triathlon in
2009 but couldn't really
swim at the time so I count
Joey Hannon 2010 as my
first real attempt! Despite
that I still feel I struggle with
the bike.
